Saturated Summer Palette — The Springs, Valley View

Set at The Springs in Valley View, this summer wedding was defined by a broad, saturated color palette and relaxed structural forms. The direction allowed for color to lead, with reds, oranges, yellows, peaches, pinks, and dusty blue working together rather than being restrained to a narrow range.

Zinnias grown on the farm were used throughout the design, anchoring the work in seasonal availability and material proximity. Their scale and natural variation supported looser compositions, which were carried across personal flowers and reception pieces to maintain continuity. Forms were intentionally open, with stems allowed to move and resolve naturally rather than being tightly compacted.

Blue elements were introduced selectively to offset warmer tones and provide contrast within the palette. This balance prevented the color range from flattening, allowing individual hues to remain legible while still reading as a cohesive system.

Across the installation, the florals sat comfortably within the venue. Repetition of materials and form created consistency, while variation in color distribution kept the work from feeling uniform. The result was a design that felt complete, seasonally grounded, and structurally resolved without relying on symmetry or tight control.
